One morning I realized that I had forgotten to get the mail the previous day. I went out to the mailbox and found the postcard below. A very fun postcard from London, England.

 

Later that day, when the mail for that day had arrived, I went out again to get the mail and found the postcard below waiting for me. A wonderful church in London, Ontario, Canada! It made me giggle!

We had many wild pheasants like this on our family farm when I was growing up. My father used to collect the tail feathers for me. I think they are quite pretty birds.

Built above the junction of the Mississippi and the Minnesota rivers in the 1820's, this stone fortress was the hub of the Upper Midwest for almost 30 years. Now restored and staffed with costumed guides, it offers visitors an authentic look at the 1827 Minnesota frontier.

My postcard to Hungary sort of made it, so now I am sending a postcard to Svetlana in the United Kingdom. What do I mean by the Hungary card "sort of" making it? Well it had been over two weeks, so I contacted Ardrienn and asked if there was a problem. She is not at home right now, so she registered the card without seeing it. I hope that it really got there! Thank you Adrienn for helping me out!

Isn't this a pretty snowy Minnesota card. It is way too cold for open water here now, but we still see the frosted trees. I hope Svetlana enjoys it!
