Quick Note

Joe contacted me a month or so ago about swapping postcards. He wanted a very specific postcard that I sent to Ksenia in Russia. I have not been able to find another copy of that postcard, but I was able to find this postcard. What Joe liked about that postcard was the bridge, so I thought he might like this one of the Third Avenue Bridge. I sent him a picture of it and he did so I am mailing this out as soon as he sends me his address.

Olli-Pekka says that he likes owls. I think that this is a great postcard of a Great Grey Owl. I hope he enjoys it! I only remember seeing one once. It was about 25 years ago. I looked out of the window and saw one sitting on a fence post. It was very cool.

We had many wild pheasants like this on our family farm when I was growing up. My father used to collect the tail feathers for me. I think they are quite pretty birds.
