To Shane in Illinois, USA

So I have added the United States as a country that I will send and receive postcards to and from. I am sending another of Adam Turman's postcards, because I LOVE them. I really like this picture of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox, so iconic!

To Piritta in Finland

It is about time for the Minnesota State Fair so I sent Piritta this postcard by Adam Truman:

Piritta mentioned that she liked Peanuts characters, I did not have any postcard of them, but I do have these photos of statues that were on display around Minneapolis/St. Paul in the early part of this decade (maybe 2002-ish?). I hope these make up for not being able to send a postcard with them on it.:

Postcards To and From Tiago in Brazil(Direct Swap)

I received this really fun postcard from Tiago today:

Tomorrow I will be sending this postcard off to him:

Monday, August 9, 2010

Whew....that was a lot of postcards!

Okay, I think that should be all of the postcards that I had laying around. Now my goal is to send one postcard per day until I reach my postcrossing limit. If I receive a postcard that day I will not send one. Hopefully these rules will make it easier for me to keep this blog up to date.

Postcards From London

One morning I realized that I had forgotten to get the mail the previous day. I went out to the mailbox and found the postcard below. A very fun postcard from London, England.

Later that day, when the mail for that day had arrived, I went out again to get the mail and found the postcard below waiting for me. A wonderful church in London, Ontario, Canada! It made me giggle!

Postcards From Ukraine

The above postcard is from Victoria. I do not know how she got my address. It does not appear to be a postcrossing postcard. Victoria, if you read this, thank you so much and please send me your address so that I can send you a postcard in return.
