To Suzanne in The Netherlands

I love this image of downtown Minneapolis. So pretty!

To Margret in Gemany

I have sent this card before, but I really like it. It is a very nice shot of the "Big Spoon" and the Basilica. I hope Margaret enjoys it.

From Sergey in Russia

Isn't this beautiful? It is St. Nicholas Cathedral of the Theophany in St. Petersburg, Russia. I so want to explore it.

To Tiago in Brazil (Direct Swap)

I really love this postcard. I think it is that ubiquitous goose just sitting there. Of course usually it is a thousand geese standing there, but the one just standing there as if he owns the place just makes me smile.

To Anu in Finland

I love wild roses. We used to have some at the foot of our driveway when I was growing up. I wonder if I could grow some here?

To Margrit in Switzerland (Direct Swap)

Margrit loved this postcard that I sent to Adrienn  in Hungary so much that she asked if I could send her three! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to come up with three copies, but I did find her one. I am glad that she likes it!

To Anna in Canada

Anna lives so close to me that I thought I should send her a card from close to home. I like this shot of downtown Minneapolis and I hope she does too.

To Yvon in The Netherlands

Yvon likes mystery. This is about the most mysterious postcard I currently have. It is a Georgia O'Keeffe painting of New York from around 1926.

To Yuemka in Japan

Well, Yumeka had a lot to wants and not wants on her list of postcards. I hope that this one will at least be acceptable. I think it is quite pretty.

From Steve, Kirsi and Onni (Family)

Rodney and I also received this postcard from his brother and his family. It is of Big Bend National Park in Texas. I have been thinking that rock climbing might be fun, but I don't think that I will be starting on that rock face!

From Tiago in Brazil (Direct Swap)

It took a very long time for this postcard from Tiago in Brazil to arrive. It must have been the holidays that slowed it down.

From Yanyi in Hong Kong

My first postcard from Hong Kong. It is amazing how much it looks like Minnesota in the fall! Thank you Yanyi.

From Caroline in Switzerland

It does not say on the postcard so I emailed Caroline asking what this building was. It is St. Ursen-Kathedrale Catholic Church in Solothurn, Switzerland.  I think it is quite a marvelous church.

To Thomas in Germany (Direct Swap)

I found this postcard in my souvenirs from my trip to San Francisco in 2008. Rodney and I sat and watched the geyser for a long time waiting for it to erupt. I had never seen a geyser before, it was very cool. I hope that Thomas enjoys it.

From Thomas in Germany (Direct Swap)

I got a postcard today! It has been so long and of course it is from Thomas. He sent me this postcard from his New Year's trip to Belgium. I think it is so pretty, but what is that figure in the corner? Scary!

To Yi-Hui in Taiwan

I feel like all I have been doing is sending postcards lately. Hopefully, I will receive a few in the next few days. Today my postcard to Tanja in Germany, so my new address was to Yi-Hui in Taiwan. She said that she liked "comic maps", so I hope this fits the bill. I find the woman ice skating with the snowman a bit creepy (look by the capital building), but maybe that is because of the weather!

To Kate in the Russia

A lovely little postcard for Kate in the Russia. I like the collage of photos from Minnesota.

To Jussi in Finland

What does one send a 12 year old Finnish boy? He likes aviation, animals and sports. I could have sent him a postcard of wolves, but I am hoping that he will find this one interesting.

To Ksenia in Russia (Resent - Direct Swap)

My post card to Ksenia did not arrive in Russia. So I am sending out another card for her. She says that she likes nature scenes, so I think this will fit the bill.

To Thitirat in Thailand

The second postcard I am sending today is my first postcard to Thailand. Strangely both Thitirat and Frouke, the first postcard I sent today, like lighthouses! Luckily I had a few lighthouse postcards to choose from.

To Frouke in The Netherlands

Today I made it to 20 postcards sent and received on Postcrossing, so now I can send 6 cards at a time. Which means that I get to send two postcards today. The first is to Frouke in the Netherlands. It is a lovely view of Split Rock lighthouse. Rodney and I visited Split Rock on our honeymoon. It is a very pretty place to visit.

To Tanja in Germany

I hope that Tanja sees birds as wild animals, because wants postcards with wild animal is one of the things she is interested in. I enjoy loons, I hope she does too!
